Dating advice women over 40

That decision can be pretty liberating – especially when you’re dating in your 40s: There’s no biological clock ticking away, which can put pressure on new relationships. You don’t have to limit yourself to men in your age group Not to feed the cougar cliché, but by the time you reach 40, the social stigma of dating younger men is so passé.In my experience, younger men really don’t care much about age differences.

The men I’ve spoken to care less about how much a woman weighs and more about how much a woman loves her body. So, if you’re a larger woman, take good care of your body and flaunt it, sista! Look beyond degrees and discover whether the person you’re dating has character and integrity. Wherever you live, I promise you are not geographically undesirable (hello online dating, Face Time, and airplanes). Dating problems begin to disappear when you overcome your insecurities and limiting beliefs about the opposite sex.

Depending on who it’s coming from, this can be flattering or very insulting (especially the friends who urge you to compromise).

But remember this: It’s only human for people to want to feel validated in their own life decisions by seeing you reflect them with your own.

I know many really smart people, including my son, who don’t have high degrees, and many people with a Ph.

Older single women are increasing in numbers — most of us are from the Baby Boomer generation and many of us are divorced, widowed or never married ... They want a companion who is close to their age — someone like YOU.
